‘Winter’ opens in 30 centres

Jayaram's much delayed movie ‘Winter’ opened in 30 centres Today. The movie, which was originally the debut movie of director Deepu Karunakaran of ‘Crazy Gopalan’ fame, has Bhavana as the heroine.

A horror thriller, the movie tells the experiences of a couple who make into a big bungalow in a quiet hamlet, away from the busy chores of the city.

The movie which completed, way back in 2007, had to wait in the cans for a couple of years due to the poor audience pull of its lead actor, Jayaram. With the success of ‘Veruthe Oru Bharya’ that came out in 2008, Jayaram was able to regain his lost importance at the Box Office. And that is the reason, why films like winter are now able to reach the theatres.
